Hudson Driveway Detailers is owned and operated by Mike Snellenberger, right here in Hudson.

I grew up just outside Hudson in Franklin Township and graduated with a BA in Business from Kent State University. From an early age, I began working in construction as many relatives were in the trades. In my 20's, I spent seven years running a painting company, most of it on high-end custom homes where the finish had to be right the first time and there was no hiding a shortcut. Pressure washing was how many of those exterior jobs started — you can't put a quality finish over a surface that wasn't prepped properly.

Somewhere in there I noticed the driveway was the part everyone rushed through. It was the warm-up before the real job. Nobody specialized in it. So now that's all I do.

Not a franchise. Not a company from somewhere else that added Hudson to a service-area list. You'll deal with the me on every job every time.

Why Driveways Only

Why only driveways? Doing one thing means doing it with the right equipment, the right chemicals, and enough repetition to actually be good at it. The company cleaning your roof Monday, gutters Tuesday, and driveway Wednesday is guessing at least twice.

Why I care which sealer we use. Coatings were my trade for seven years. I know what a product does over five winters, not just on the day it goes down. That's why we use a penetrating sealer instead of the glossy stuff — I've seen how film-forming coatings fail, and I'm not putting one on your driveway.

Fully insured. Hudson-based. One service, done right.

So that's all I do now. Concrete driveways, cleaned and sealed. No roofs, no gutters, no siding, no decks.
